You can help FEDS make a difference in the lives of children, teens and adults with Down syndrome by volunteering or making a tax-deductible donation. Your generosity will help support programs and events which benefit more than 200 families in the metropolitan Detroit area.
Volunteers are a uniquely important part of FEDS, supporting our efforts with the precious gift of time. We would love to have you join us in our mission, and we offer you a variety of opportunities to assist: with special events, administrative tasks, committee involvement, and the mutual support of other parents.
Many of our members make memorial donations to FEDS. If you would like to participate in our Memorial Gift program, you can request that your donation be used for a specific purpose, such as for library materials, scholarships, summer therapy, conferences, for new-parent outreach, or for our Changing Lives Program. FEDS provides memorial donation cards for use at funeral homes. Please contact Karen Relph at 586-354-6429 or krelph1@wowway.com to have memorial cards delivered to a funeral home. FEDS individually acknowledges all memorial card donations, and the family of the deceased receives a list of donors.
Your tax-deductible donation will help support all of the programs and services available through FEDS. If you would like to make a donation by check or money order, please mail it to FEDS at the address below. Be sure to include your contact information, so that we can acknowledge your gift.
