Holiday Party

Several years back, the Knights of Columbus Father Heary Council adopted Families Exploring Down Syndrome as one of their groups to celebrate the Christmas season. Originally, the Knights hosted the party at their hall. The party became so popular that it outgrew the Knights hall, and FEDS now hosts the party at Club Venetian, with Santa and the gifts graciously furnished by the Knights of Columbus.

Club Venetian is a warm setting for our families to get together and rejoice in our kids and their accomplishments, and to socialize with each other. Everyone enjoys lunch, and the kids do crafts and dance to a DJ's music. The highlight of the afternoon is a visit from Santa complete with gifts for the children and adults with Down syndrome.
