Reach for the Stars: Down Syndrome Conference
Families Exploring Down Syndrome presented its second statewide conference "Reach for the Stars II" on October 20, 2007. "Reach for the Stars II" had 34 sessions, led by experts in various fields related to Down syndrome, with topics selected to appeal to parents of children in infancy through adulthood. Each guest attended 4 sessions, enjoyed the continental breakfast, snacks, and delicious lunch, and had the opportunity to visit many informational booths and purchase some wonderful products from our vendors.

As you might imagine, hosting a conference such as this requires much planning, time, work, and dedication on the part of our volunteers. Because it is such a large undertaking, Families Exploring Down Syndrome does not hold this special event as frequently as we would like. We have not yet set a date for our next conference, so please visit this page occasionally for an update on our plans.
